Nutbutter opens Ireland’s largest site in Dundrum with exclusive menu and TWOFIFTY SQUARE coffee
Nutbutter is launching its biggest location yet this autumn at Dundrum Town Centre, featuring over 180 seats, a new seasonal menu with mostly plant-based dishes, and premium TWO FIFTY SQUARE coffee to enhance the health-conscious dining experience.
Nutbutter, a beloved Irish independently-owned eatery known for its healthy and globally inspired dishes, is opening its largest location yet at Dundrum Town Centre this autumn. This new site occupies the former Starbucks unit overlooking the scenic Mill Pond and will offer over 180 seats across two floors. Diners can enjoy a relaxed balcony and a spacious waterside terrace, creating an inviting atmosphere for casual meals. According to the company announcement, Nutbutter will remain a walk-in only venue, allowing customers to effortlessly pop in for lunch or dinner. Takeaway and delivery services will be available daily from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm.
To celebrate the launch, Nutbutter will debut an exclusive Dundrum menu featuring autumnal dishes, a curated cocktail and wine list, new kids’ options, and desserts that are primarily plant-based. The menu aims to make nutritious food exciting, fast, and satisfying, featuring dishes such as Mexican Pozole, a creative twist on Irish Stew, tacos, tostadas, and fresh desserts made with standout Irish ingredients and no refined sugar. Paddy Hogan, Nutbutter’s founder, expressed his gratitude for opening the Dundrum location, which had long been the eatery’s most requested site.
Complementing Nutbutter’s culinary offerings is the coffee, supplied by TWOFIFTY SQUARE, a Dublin-based small-batch roaster famed for its dedication to quality. TWOFIFTY SQUARE began in Rathmines in 2014 and has expanded into multiple locations including their roastery in Terenure. Their focus is on delivering high-quality coffee experiences, from their well-crafted flat whites to wholesale services such as machine leasing and barista training for partner businesses. This partnership ensures that Nutbutter's customers enjoy a premium coffee experience alongside their plant-based, health-conscious meals.
TWOFIFTY SQUARE is also noted for community engagement and maintaining direct relationships with coffee farmers, emphasizing single estate ground coffee, and sustainable practices. Their presence at Nutbutter Dundrum highlights a growing trend in Ireland's café scene: a commitment to quality, freshness, and sustainability not only in food but in coffee as well.
In summary, Nutbutter’s expansion into Dundrum Town Centre marks a significant development for the Irish food scene, blending health-conscious, plant-based cuisine with an expertly curated coffee experience. It reflects broader consumer trends towards accessible, nutritious dining combined with artisanal coffee offerings, set within thoughtfully designed, welcoming spaces.
