Winning an Irish Quality Food or Drink Award is a huge accolade for your company and product, setting you apart from your competitors in the busy marketplace.
A ‘Q Award’ is presented to the winning product in each of the food categories. Commended and Highly Commended products will also receive awards and be given a corresponding logo that they can use to promote their achievement in their marketing and on-pack.
The Christmas Q Award is awarded to the best product specifically developed for Christmas consumption. An overall gold will be awarded to the one Christmas product that stands out above all the other finalists.
The Value Q Award is awared to those products with the best value for money while maintaining the quality of the product. There are five specific 'Value' categories you can enter.
A Gold Q Award is the ultimate accolade which is awarded to the one product that stands out from all other entries within a category. It is selected from the winners of all the main categories and represents the ‘best of the best’.
The Drink Q Award is presented to the Gold, Silver and Bronze products in each of the alcoholic drink categories and all winners receive a logo to use in their promotional activity and on-pack. A Platinum Q is awarded to the best of the Gold Products.
The Small Producer of the Year Q Award has been very successful over the past two years, therefore we are delighted to award it for a third year. All 'Small Producer' category winning products will be assessed by a panel of independent judges, who will decide upon a winner.
The Retailer of the Year Award is returning for the second year in 2017. This special accolade acknowledges and highlights a particular retailer’s exceptional performance and an outstanding standard of entries in that year, with a unique trophy being awarded in recognition of this fact. The scoring system is carefully weighted objectively with points for wins, highly commendeds, commended and shortlisted products.
